Mini Travis...

Today when all the family and close friends were around, Ethan, my recently departed friend Travis's nephew, was happily running around! I think that even though Travis could not be there, he was a true representation for our dearest Trav, so i had to take a few pics of him too. Ethan is the spitting image of his Uncle and all he needs is a good tan and he will be exactly like him!!! He was just not chocolate enough yet!!!

Trav would have been 28 this good friday and I hope you will all make a donation to the good friday appeal - hopefully some of this will go towards helping with Trav's disease too.

Princess Mia's name day...

Today I had little Princess Mia's name day... Kinda like a christening but without all that pesky god stuff... It was a beautiful day for it. The sun was shining, the rain stayed away and the love was to be felt everywhere. Mia looked like a true little princess in her white dress and little fountain in her blonde hair... (still not too sure about those damn fountains but...) I only have a few pics in my posession at this stage so will post them, but will post more when and if i get any. Mia is a little spunk. Well... she IS a direct relation to me so what do you expect!

Going to see him while he's in town for the comedy festival!!! Woo Hoo! Bit of a dish, huh! I love a good drunken pom... Who loves books to boot! Does anyone NOT know Black Books???

Wisdom teeth

I thought I was wise enough... In fact often wiser than most, however it seems my mouth knows better! Aaaaah the irony! In line with my almost 7 month old niece, seems i'm teething! What the fuck is that all about???

OUCH!

I hope this picture will illustrate my mouth at the end of this lovely experience and not any of the following... We all know how i feel about anything to do with dentists... needles... surgery... spending money... Aaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

Pretty please...

Sweet 16

My old high school is having a reunion soon and I was looking for my old pics from that time to see if I had anything to contribute to the memorabilia (they are asking for some) and happened to come across these 2 so far! Most others are probably at Grandma's in the garage with all my storage stuff which i will go thru over the next few weeks to see what other treasures i can come up with... Be afraid old lavo friends, be very afraid!!! he he he!

This is me and an old boyfriend at my friend's deb. He did it with one of my best friends and i made it my mission to go home with him that nite and i manage to do just that! I stayed at his place and I swear i was a good girl... ;-) We used to have so much fun together. Even when we were not 'together' we were always the best of friends. We loved music so much and were such antagonists with each other. Loved Duran Duran especially. Go wild boys!

Pic of me after I had been to the Royal Melbourne show one year. Check out the badges!!! I was so enviromentally and politically conscious back then... Clearly! Plus I loved Bon Jovi hence the slippery when wet badge and apparently I loved John too! What everrrrr!

Do you think I have changed any?

Anonymous blogger...

Anonymous blogger: So nice of you to come and acknowledge me when I am all down and out in beverly hills... would really cheer me up if you stopped being a pain in the ass and just told me who you were...

Stella McCartney

I managed to acquire 2 of the fabulous Stella McCartney pieces from Target! I especially like the pretty pink flowy top... It's divine!

The top I got...

The jeans

Now I am that much closer to the Beatles. He he he!

The whole range is here:

Ps: There were full racks again when I just 'took a chance' today to see if there were any dribs and drabs left of the limited edition Stella range... There were no size 8's left, very few size 10's, but pretty much everything else. Spewing for the people who queued up yesterday for hours and got nothing or not what they wanted... Sorry Wellen!

Ellen's birthday!

Today is Wellen's birthday and she's so special, she gets a public holiday just for her!!! Well, after an adventurous morning braving the Stella McCartney crazy asses in a Target store this morning, Ellen met us down at Queen's park in moonee ponds for a kick ass picnic. She did manage to snare a trench coat from target, but said the crowds were just too OMG crazy! (i think that means OH MY GOD)!

We all met down at the park and even though it was a bit chilly and windy, we all had a great old time. There was heaps of food and drink consumed, in my case - 2 glasses spilled dammit! - and many full stomaches left at the end.

The kids had lots of fun too, however it seemed that Milla was suffering from a junior hangover and was a bit fragile! Poor kid, wait til she gets a REAL one! All in all, a great afternoon.

Happy Birthday Wellen, we love you heaps. Chu!

I love Ace Frehley...

I've said it before, i'm saying now and i'll surely say it again...

Just a couple of funnies...

If anyone EVER see's a doona cover like this, alert me immediately!

Made me laugh...

I want to read this book...

Blood and Chocolate chronicles the longings and passions of one Vivian Gandillon, teenage werewolf. Her pack family, recently burned out of their West Virginia home by suspicious neighbors, has resettled in a sleepy Maryland suburb. At her new school, Viv quickly falls for sensitive heartthrob Aiden, a human--or "meat-boy," as her pack calls him. Soon she is trying to tame her undomesticated desires to match his more civilized sensibilities. "He was gentle. She hadn't expected that. Kisses to her were a tight clutch, teeth, and tongue... His eyes were shy beneath his dark lashes, and his lips curved with delight and desire--desire he wouldn't force on her... he was different." But Vivian's animal ardor cannot be stilled, and she must decide if she should keep Aiden in the dark about her true nature or invite him to take a walk on her wild side.

Klause poetically describes the violence and sensuality of the pack lifestyle, creating a hot-blooded heroine who puts the most outrageous riot grrrls to shame. Blood and Chocolate is a masterpiece of adolescent angst wrapped in wolf's clothing, and its lovely, sensuous taste is sure to be sweet on the teenage tongue. (Ages 13 and older) --Jennifer Hubert

Damn virus!

For the better part of this week, I have been suffering with a slight case of tonsilitis and the viral crap that goes along with it... Sore muscles, icky phlegm, green snot, blocked ears, sweats, even more trouble sleeping (as if that was even possible!!!), sneezing and all that jazz... I feel shit and really would like to get back to it... Thanks in advance, health goddess!!!

A bit self indulgent, but who gives a shit!!!

Bloody good!
