Halloween reigns supreme!

Last nite, me, Bonnie (aka Betty Nuggs) and her friend Prue, attended a very cool party in aid of cancer research. It was held at Star Bar and was really kinda kooky and ooky!!! We had an awesome nite and although we did not manage to score any of the raffle or auction loot, we managed to have a scarily delicious nite and were home just after the witching hour!!!

The 3 of us "suited up" so to speak, for the occasion and here are some pics to prove it!

Nikki SEXXY Sixx

Nikki Sixx, has established “Running Wild in the Night,” to raise funds to support Covenant House’s work in providing services to nearly 78,000 youth last year. Since being incorporated in New York City in 1972, the agency is supported almost entirely by private contributions.
Sixx will launch “Running Wild in the Night” by auctioning off a custom, personalized Harley Davidson motorcycle online and teaming up with outside manufacturers to donate musical instruments, musical software and computer equipment to Covenant House creative arts programs designed to promote healing and growth for homeless and displaced young people.
Sixx is also planning to donate a percentage of proceeds from a recent lawsuit victory with VANS Corporation and a portion of proceeds from his forthcoming book, Heroin Diaries (Fall 2005) which chronicles his struggles drug addiction. “A lot of kids on the streets are addicted to drugs, I know what it’s like, and I know they can help themselves by finding a Covenant House in their area.”

Vince Neil, lost his daughter, Skylar to cancer when she was just 4 years old and now he makes it his lifes work to help raise money for the cause...

"In 1995, I lost my daughter Skylar to stomach cancer. Since that time I have endeavored to do everything I can to help raise awareness and much needed funding for children's illnesses. My Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation has donated over a million dollars The T.J. Martell Foundation, a wonderful organization dedicated to much needed Cancer, Leukemia and AIDS research."

Halloween is coming...

Its kinda cool when halloween is in October and there is also a Friday the 13th in october too! Bummer that i didn't get to enjoy the day as i had an asthma attack at work yesterday morning and had to go home to recover... However, this Halloween, I have a benefit to go to with my friend, Betty. I have the coolest costume to wear and I will take heaps of pics to show you all when its been... In the meantime, i found the coolest pumpkin pic for halloween that i wanted to share with you... Enjoy, its really cool...

Hey does anyone know any good vintage shops for clothes and household goods? You know like funky lamps and glass wear, stuff like that? I want to do a vintage shop day and the only book I can find was printed a year ago... So if you can help me with any info, that would be cool...

Tonite I am off to see the Hoodoo Gurus at the chelsea tab with Julie, a friend of mine. I can't wait! They have always been one of my favourite bands and Brad Shepherd is such a major hottie! Well, its a long way to go for a bit of rock 'n' roll, but who cares. I am also doing a review for this show for the naked dwarf... so will keep you posted on that too. YAY!
